Ok so started the diet portion of the p90x. After doing some figuring it looked like I am in the level 2 of the eating plan. The book gives you a number of different receipes. Each recipe has three versions. One for level one, two and three. The ingredients just increase a little as your level goes up. So as I said I figured i was a level two. For breakfast I picked the mushroom and cheese omelet. It sounded good. The ingredients are as follows.
8 Egg whites
1/2 Roma Tomato chopped
2 Tablespoons Green Onions chopped
3/4 cups chopped mushrooms
3 Ounces of low fat chedder cheese
Salt and pepper to taste.
To some this may not sound like much but, that is a lot of protein. I have never eaten that much before in an omelet. I only put 2 ounces of cheese in because it was not low fat cheese it was only 50% fat free. I did not want to go over my calorie amount for this dish. I might have to go down to the level one eating part. O one more thing that was not even the complete breakfast. It also told me to eat a cup of strawberries and 12 ounces of cottage cheese. I did not have fresh strawberries or cottage cheese and I dont think I even have room for it.
Assuming I can finish digesting this omelet I might do the ab ripper x workout at 12-12:30 and then rest a little before going onto the chest and back workout later this afternoon or evening.
